Uno is very sad here. So sad, in fact, that not even icecream will cheer him up. Good try though cyclops... good try.
Ears are a bit too floppy/floaty/mushy/squishy. I'll have to sort that out.
Watch my animation (Eye Like Pizza) evolve into a short film, see stupid drawings about crazy things, see crazy drawings about stupid things, think about clever hats, read lessons on things I shouldn't give lessons on and, of course, wildlife enthusiasm.
Nice! The motion is nice and fluid.. you're doing a good job at hiding the pose-to-pose feel.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see a bigger clip, though.
REALLY NICE!
ReplyDeleteNice acting, have a lot of apeals.
I want to see more!.. MOOREEE!
Thanks for the comments fellas!
ReplyDeleteMore clips on the way!
This looks great. I'm a senior in college and working on my short as well. This is really inspiring, keep posting! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks Jesse. Renders were running all weekend, I'll have more to show soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat college are you going to?
Hey Jeff. I go to the School of Visual Arts. Currently aiming for a career hopefully in Lighting/ Compositing. Thesis blog is lecheproject.blogspot.com if you want to check it out. Good stuff Jeff I cant wait to see more. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteThis is just about the funniest one-liner animation I've seen in a long time. I love it!
ReplyDeletehahaha glad you like it Stacie :)
ReplyDeletethis looks reeally nice...can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeletejust wondered....the type of staging uve got for the character, was it intentional to leave his left arm stuck to the bench for the whole of the performance? I was just curious, not trying to criticise at all really! Just wondered what was your intention with that choice...
I'm also curious to know what happens on the left space of the screen...
really nice style!
Hey RVG, thanks for the comment. Uno's left arm is just dangling down over the edge of the bench... I wanted to keep the focus on the icecream cone and simplify the silhouette. Maybe not the most natural of choices but it works for me ;)
ReplyDeleteI've come back to watch this thing like 30 times. Even my dog loves it which you should regard as a very high compliment. She's quite the critic...
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful!! I love the character and the animation is spot on! I can't wait to see more of this!
